Annual reports 2021

The corona crisis confirmed it once again: donors are of the utmost importance for public health in our country. Not only because they selflessly donate blood and plasma that save lives every day. Also because, thanks to all those donations, we are able to track how viruses such as corona develop. That is highly valuable information in the fight against a pandemic like we have experienced in recent years.

What else could we do with this huge source of information? That is what we are eager to further explore in the coming years. Because not only viruses, also disorders such as diabetes and obesity, can perhaps be tackled more effectively by detecting them in an earlier stage. Want to know more about our lessons in 2021, and our ambitions for the future? Please read our annual reports. Don't feel like reading the whole report? We have made a booklet with highlights too.
