Masterclass on Biologics

On Friday October 11, 2019 Sanquin Biologics organizes a new Masterclass. In this one day course key opinion leaders in the biologics field will share the latest information on pharmacokinetics (PK) and immunogenicity of biologics. In depth information on assay formats and how to interpret PK and anti-drug antibody (ADA) data will be shared with a focus on antibody therapy in oncology and rheumatoid arthritis

In this masterclass clinical practice as well as background knowledge will be shared and discussed with you.

Dr. Dirk Jan Moes (Clinical Pharmacologist/ Pharmacometrician at the Leiden University Medical Center) will give insight into TDM of biologics in oncology. Sophie Berends PhD (Pharmacist/Scientist at Amsterdam UMC) will inform you of the development of a PK modelling based dashboard for TDM and Dr Gertjan Wolbink (Rheumatologist at the Jan van Breemen Research Institute/ Reade/Sanquin) on how to use serum PK/ADA measurements in the clinic.

More in depth information on assay/assay formats and how to interpret the data will be given by Dr Theo Rispens (Sanquin Research), Dr Annick de Vries (Sanquin Diagnostic Services) and other Sanquin team members.

Cancellation policy

All cancellations must be received in writing 21 calendar days prior to the start of the event and will be subject to an administration fee of 150 Euro. For cancellation after this time, or if the delegate fails to attend the event, no refund of fees may be expected and the amount of the invoice is due. Substitutions are welcome at no extra charge prior to 1 October 2019. The organisers reserve the right to cancel the event at any time without liability. In these circumstances, delegates will be offered an alternative date, a credit note or a full refund.
