Research interests
Currently I am a PhD student at Immunopathology, working in the field of Pharmacometrics. My research is focused on population pharmacokinetic (PK) models of therapeutic monoclonal antibodies. One of the projects is about Natalizumab, a drug administered for Multiple Sclerosis (MS) patients. Prior research has shown that lowering the Natalizumab could be beneficial, by maintaining immunosurveillance in the central nervous system, lowering health care costs, and decreasing the disease burden. The aim of the project is to enable personalized medicine guided by therapeutic drug monitoring (TDM) coupled with pharmacokinetic models
