Blood for Life – the Sanquin Research Fund aims to obtain contributions from companies and individuals to fund research at Sanquin.
Sanquin Research & Lab services is – just like other research organizations – for a large part depending on external funding for its research projects. Next to (inter)national Research Councils and charities, funding from ‘Blood for life’ contributes to life-saving research projects.
Blood for Life focuses on four topics: Saving lives using big data, Culturing blood in the lab, Repairing one's own blood cells, Cure cancer with blood.
